Wesley Foundation Touching Lives

October 29, 2014

Over the past four weeks, the Louisville Wesley Foundation (a.k.a. The Gathering) has experienced a powerful movement of God in the hearts and lives of our students. More than ever, they are reaching out to other students at U of L, experiencing God’s love through active discipleship.

God is using the Thursday night Gathering to touch the lives of our students. For many of them, our time together in worship is the one moment of their week where they can experience the peace of Christ.
We need your help as our family within the United Methodist Church. The following items are on our hearts and part of our needs for this ministry:
•             Participation in the 75th Anniversary of the Wesley Foundation on November 14th at Epworth UMC – please make your reservation soon
•             Equipment for our worship band, wireless ear pieces and a drum set
•             Funding to begin an internship program
•             Scholarships for students to attend Passion Conference
The Louisville Wesley Foundation is the United Methodist Church ministry on campus. We need your help to sustain this mission of reaching and teaching young adults ages 18 to 30. .
For more information, please visit www.gatheringlouisville.org or contact campus minister, Marco Ballesteros at 727-8504. It will be our pleasure to share more about this exciting movement on campus as we continue to build disciples for Christ.
