AC2021 to be held online

Dear members and friends of the Kentucky Annual Conference,
I pray that all of you are well and are coming to know the unmeasurable love of Jesus Christ during this Lenten season.
Bishop Fairley, with the AC Program and Arrangements team, has been monitoring the guidelines regarding the coronavirus pandemic in the planning of our June Annual Conference. While we see promising signs regarding COVID-19 with a decrease in the number of cases and with vaccinations being administered, we do not anticipate that it will be safe and wise to host our event in-person in June. The decision to hold our Annual Conference online instead of in-person has been made.
Please note the dates of Annual Conference have changed slightly. Clergy and laity sessions will be held Sunday afternoon and evening, June 6. A time of learning with Jason Moore leading 5 Things Your Visitors Are Thinking but Won’t Ask webinar will be held Monday morning, June 7. The Commissioning and Ordination Service will be livestreamed on Monday afternoon, June 7. Tuesday, June 8 will be our Annual Conference meeting.
More details regarding Annual Conference will be shared in an email and through a mailing in the next couple of weeks.
If you made hotel reservations for June conference in Owensboro, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for cancelling those reservations.
Thank you for your continued patience and prayers for our Connection as we do Kingdom work together.
