Mission Opportunities Around Red Bird Missionary Conference

Rev. Jim Savage has a wonderful opportunity for any teams interested in doing some mission work in the Red Bird Missionary Conference.  The projects listed below are ready for volunteers to come and help right away:
  1. Bathroom floor replacement and ramp to front of house.  This couple is handicapped, he has lost one of his legs. They need the bathroom floor replaced, to include the subfloor; possibly the beams underneath the house.  They also need to have a ramp to the front of the house which is only one step so wouldn’t have to be a large ramp.

  2. Beverly Church recently replaced old heat system, steam, with a newer style of heating.  But they need to have the remainder steam pipes removed and the holes patched that have been left from pipes.  There is some trim work that needs to be completed as well as painting.

  3. Beech Creek needs some work on an existing playground.  It needs repairs and beautification.

  4. Stoney Fork needs to have the basement and fellowship hall to be handicap accessible, so needs an outside ramp.

  5. Conference Center has some needs for house cleaning and minor repairs done around the Conference houses.
