North Carolina Mission Trip
Greetings,
As most of you know by now, this past September I left North Carolina to call the beautiful state of Kentucky my home. I would like to thank everyone for your warm welcome.
A few days before I arrived, Hurricane Matthew devastated a large part of eastern North Carolina. If you have ever been in a hurricane, or seen its fury, you know what a massive rebuilding job awaits those who have been severely affected.
When I was in North Carolina, I had the privilege of serving as the District Superintendent in the Lumberton area. The town of Lumberton was especially hard hit and flooding was rampant. I’m asking that at least 10 people from each district in the Kentucky Annual Conference go back with me to Lumberton to help rebuild homes damaged due to this massive storm. With your help, we can restore the lives of numerous families in Lumberton who are in great need of our assistance.
We will leave from various departure points throughout Kentucky on Saturday, March 25th and return on Friday, March 31st. Please consider making this trip with me. It will be a most rewarding experience. Please make your commitment soon as the deadline to sign up is February 15th.
For more information about this trip, please see the link for the website located at the end of this email. I’m urging you to register to accompany me on this trip. We absolutely can’t have too many people to go to North Carolina. The more we have going with us, the more folks we can help. The people of Lumberton desperately need our assistance.
I am hopeful you will join me as we form a team to go share God's love to those affected by this storm.Thank you for your consideration and may God richly bless you.
