Request for Nominations – Lay Members, Task Force on Evangelism

In response to the motion approved during the 2023 Annual Conference to create a Task Force on Evangelism, the Board of Laity (BOL) is required to appoint at least five lay members to serve on the Task Force.  To appoint qualified lay representatives who will help effectively fulfill the purposes of the Task Force on Evangelism, the BOL is soliciting personal profiles of lay members of the Kentucky Annual Conference who are interested in being considered as an Evangelism Task Force member.  

The BOL encourages anyone who has a penchant for helping the Kentucky Conference make evangelism a priority, to consider vying for a seat at the Task Force on Evangelism table by submitting a descriptive personal profile. Self-nominees and others must submit a profile that includes at least the following information:  

•    Full Name of Nominee
•    Nominee’s contact information, including phone number and email address
•    Name and location of nominee’s local church affiliation; including the KAC District
•    Identify current and/or previous conference/district/local church leadership roles served
•    Share why you desire to be committed to serving on the Kentucky Annual Conference Task Force on Evangelism.

 To be considered as a lay member of the Task Force on Evangelism, all profiles must be submitted to Laity2023ky@gmail.com by 11 p.m. (EST) on July 14th.  All profiles will be reviewed and recommended appointments will be selected on or before the July 22 deadline.
