Brenda Sue Harris Glover

Brenda Sue Harris Glover, 70, of Madisonville, wife of the late Rev. Billy Glover, died of natural causes Jan. 17, 2020, at Baptist Health-Madisonville.

She and her husband served numerous churches, primarily in western Kentucky, most recently at Browder in Madisonville. Rev. Glover passed away in 2014. A native of Logan County, she was born July 10, 1949, the daughter of the late Wayne Danforth Harris and Annie Mae Ware Harris.

She was a teacher at Logan County Schools for more than 15 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Harris Pennick.

Survivors include her son, Jay Kyle Glover, of Madisonville; stepsons William Glover, of Tampa, Florida, and John Glover, of Louisville; a stepdaughter, Tina Marie Glover, of Alabama; her brother, Larry Wayne Harris, of Nashville; and five stepgrandchildren.

The funeral was Jan. 20, 2020, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home in Hopkinsville with Rev. Gene Pillow officiating.
